- brown sugar - 2 lb
- vinegar - 2 qt
- mustard - 2 Tbsp
- carrots - 1 qt
- celery - 1 qt
- cabbage - 1 qt
- turmeric - 1 Tbsp
- cauliflower - 1 qt
- kidney beans - 1 qt
- sweet peppers - 4 item
- lima beans - 1 qt
- green tomatoes - 1 qt
- turnips - 1 qt
- sweet corn - 1 qt
- small pickles - 1 qt
- yellow string beans - 1 qt
- little onions - 1 qt
How to make mixed pickles:
Heat brown sugar, vinegar, turmeric and mustard. Bring to boil; add vegetables. Boil 10 minutes longer. Pack in hot jars and seal.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
