  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • all-purpose flour - 1 c
  • each: baking powder and soda - 1/2 tsp

How to make chocolate waffles:

Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, soda and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs and buttermilk; beat just until blended. Gradually add melted butter, beating until smooth. Add vanilla. Bake in waffle iron.
