Chocolate streusel bars
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- unsifted flour
- powdered sugar
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- can Eagle Brand condensed milk - 1 oz
- cold margarine - 1 c
How to make chocolate streusel bars:
Preheat oven to 350°. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar and cocoa. Cut in margarine until crumbly (mixture will be dry). Reserve 2 cups crumb mixture; press remaining on bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bake 15 minutes. In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in condensed milk until smooth. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Pour over crust. Combine nuts with remaining crumb mix; sprinkle over cream cheese mix. Bake 25 minutes or until bubbly.
