Ingredients/Components

  • maple syrup - 1 c
  • heavy cream, whipped - 1 pt
  • egg yolks, beaten slightly - 2 item

How to make maple mousse:

Mix the syrup with the egg yolks. Cook in a double boiler until the mixture is slightly thick. Let it cool. When cool, fold the mixture into the whipped cream. Place in freezer. Just before it freezes, stir it thoroughly. Serves 6.
