  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • sour cream - 1/2 c
  • butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • powdered sugar

How to make chocolate sour cream frosting:

In saucepan, melt chocolate pieces and butter or margarine over low heat, stirring frequently. Cool about 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream, vanilla and salt; gradually add powdered sugar, beating by hand until frosting is smooth and of spreading consistency. Frost tops and sides of 2 (8 or 9-inch) layers of about 24 cup cakes.
