  • sugar
  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 3/4 c
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • cream of tartar - 2 tsp

How to make chocolate snickerdoodles:

Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add small amounts to creamed mixture. Roll dough into balls, then roll in sugar. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.
