- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 3/4 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- cream of tartar - 2 tsp
How to make chocolate snickerdoodles:
Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add small amounts to creamed mixture. Roll dough into balls, then roll in sugar. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, < 30 mins.
