Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- nuts - 1 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- Place in boiler the oleo, Crisco, water and cocoa
How to make chocolate sheath cake:
Place sugar and flour in bowl. Place in boiler the oleo, Crisco, water and cocoa. Bring this to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour over ingredients in bowl. Add buttermilk, eggs, cinnamon, soda and vanilla; mix. Grease and flour 10 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° until toothpick inserted comes out clean.Icing:1 stick oleo4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 box powdered sugar1 c. nuts1 tsp. vanilla Place in same boiler 1 stick oleo; melt over low flame.
