Ingredients/Components
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- sugar - 2 c
- stick oleo - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- Pour over flour and beat well
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- nuts - 1 c
How to make chocolate sheath cake:
Bring to boil oleo, water, cocoa, shortening and sugar and cocoa. Pour over flour and beat well. Add eggs, buttermilk cinnamon, soda and vanilla. Beat well until smooth. Bake in 11 x 16-inch pan for 45 minutes at 350°.Icing:1 stick oleo6 Tbsp. milk4 Tbsp. cocoa1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. nuts Five minutes before cake is done, combine first 3 frosting ingredients and bring to a boil.
