Chocolate revel bars
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 4 tsp
- packed brown sugar - 2 c
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour
- soda - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1 c
- can sweetened condensed milk - 1 item
- quick cooking oats - 3 c
- semi-sweet chips
How to make chocolate revel bars:
In a large bowl, beat margarine on medium speed for 30 seconds. Add about half of the flour, all the brown sugar, eggs, 2 teaspoons vanilla and the soda. Beat on low until well mixed. Beat in remaining flour. Stir in oats.In medium saucepan, cook chocolate, milk and 2 tablespoons margarine over low heat, until chocolate is melted, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining vanilla and nuts. Put 3 1/2 cups oat mixture in bottom of an ungreased pan (jelly roll pan). Spread chocolate mixture over oat mixture. Dot with remaining oat mixture. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Cool. Cut into bars.
