Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • margarine - 1 c
  • 12 oz - 1 pkg
  • Eagle Brand milk - 1 can
  • quick rolled oats - 3 c

How to make chocolate revel bars:

Cream together margarine and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda and salt; add oats. Stir flour mixture into creamed mixture. In a heavy saucepan melt together milk, chocolate chips, margarine and salt. Stir until smooth; stir in nuts and vanilla. Pat 2/3 oat mixture in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Spread chocolate mixture over dough. Dot with remaining oat mixture. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
