Ingredients/Components

  • margarine, soft - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • quick rolled oats - 3 c
  • flour
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • salt
  • can sweetened condensed milk - 1 oz
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • nuts - 1 c

How to make chocolate revel bars:

Cream margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Stir oats, flour, soda and 1 teaspoon salt; stir into creamed mixture until blended. Set aside.

Stir milk, chocolate, 2 tablespoons margarine and 1/2 teaspoon salt over very low heat until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in nuts and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Pat 2/3 of the oat mixture into ungreased cake pan. Spread chocolate mixture over oats and top with remaining oat mixture. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
