Ingredients/Components
- margarine, soft - 1 c
- brown sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- quick rolled oats - 3 c
- flour
- soda - 1 tsp
- salt
- can sweetened condensed milk - 1 oz
- pkg - 1 oz
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- nuts - 1 c
How to make chocolate revel bars:
Cream margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Stir oats, flour, soda and 1 teaspoon salt; stir into creamed mixture until blended. Set aside.Stir milk, chocolate, 2 tablespoons margarine and 1/2 teaspoon salt over very low heat until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in nuts and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Pat 2/3 of the oat mixture into ungreased cake pan. Spread chocolate mixture over oats and top with remaining oat mixture. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
