Ingredients/Components
- Hershey bars, melted - 8 item
- sticks butter or oleo, softened - 2 item
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- buttermilk or sour milk - 1 c
- nuts - 1 c
How to make chocolate pound cake:
Mix sugar a little at a time with Hershey bars and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk. Add nuts. Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
