Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- milk - 3 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- eggs, separated - 4 item
- vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 6 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour
How to make chocolate pie:
Cook in saucepan, stirring continuously until smooth and thick. Pour into 2 baked pie shells. Cover with frosting made from the 4 egg whites. Beat until they stand in peaks by adding pinch of salt. Then add 8 tablespoons granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring. Spread over pies. Preheat oven to 425° and brown pies lightly.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
