Chocolate fudge cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- eggs, unbeaten - 2 item
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- sifted plain flour - 2 c
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- hot water - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- Sift cocoa and flour together
- stick margarine - 1 item
- sweet milk - 1/2 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
How to make chocolate fudge cake:
Dissolve soda in buttermilk. Sift cocoa and flour together. Cream sugar and oil; add eggs and mix well. Add flour mixture alternately with milk to the sugar and oil. Add water and vanilla. Bake in 2 cake pans that have been greased and floured in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.Frosting:2 c. sugar1 stick margarine2 Tbsp. cocoa1/2 c. sweet milk pinch of salt1 tsp. vanilla Mix well.
