  • vanilla - 4 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 1 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • shortening
  • nuts - 1 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 item
  • small curd cottage cheese - 2 c

How to make chocolate cottage cheese cookies:

Cream together shortening, sugar and eggs. Add cottage cheese and vanilla. Sift and add flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa and soda. Add nuts and chill dough. Form into balls and roll in powdered sugar. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes. Makes 10-15 dozen.
