- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- powdered sugar - 1 pkg
- Crisco - 1/4 c
- sour milk - 1/2 c
- nuts, floured - 1/2 c
- Frosting:1/2 or 3/4 mashed banana
How to make banana nut cake:
Frosting:1/2 or 3/4 mashed banana1 pkg. powdered sugar1/2 c. nuts1 tsp. vanilla1/4 c. Crisco Beat eggs until fluffy, then add shortening and sugar. Next measure 1/2 cup milk with soda (mix 1 tablespoon vinegar with soda in milk to get sour). Mix bananas in another bowl, then alternate flour (already mixed with salt and baking powder) and bananas. Add vanilla and nuts.
