Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, separated - 8 item
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- baking soda
- boiling water - 3/4 c
- sifted cake flour
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- salad oil - 1/2 c
How to make chocolate chiffon cake:
Mix cocoa with boiling water. Let set. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until very stiff peaks form. Sift together dry ingredients into large mixing bowl. Make a well in the center. Add oil, egg yolks, cocoa mixture and vanilla; beat well. Fold iRecipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
