- sugar - 1/2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- oil - 3 Tbsp
- ginger - 1/4 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- clove garlic - 1 item
- green pepper - 1 item
- round steak - 1 lb
- raw tomatoes if wanted - 1 item
How to make chinese pepper steak:
Brown cut-up steak in oil; add cornstarch, then add the rest of ingredients and simmer. Put peppers and tomatoes in last for a few minutes. Serve over white rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Rice.
