Chicken tortilla casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 large
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- corn tortillas - 1 doz
- to 4 chopped green onions - 3 item
- grated cheese Cheddar or Mozzarella - 1/2 lb
- small can green chili peppers - 1 item
- to 6 chicken breasts, cooked and diced - 5 item
How to make chicken tortilla casserole:
Cut tortillas in 1/2 and lightly fry. Mix soup, chicken, sour cream, onion and chili peppers together.In a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, place a layer of tortillas in the bottom. Add 1/2 the chicken mixture and top with 1/2 the cheese. Repeat the layers. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
