- flour - 1/2 c
- beaten eggs - 6 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chicken broth - 4 c
- cooked, cubed chicken - 3 c
- butter 1 stick - 1/2 c
How to make chicken scallop:
Prepare dressing. Melt the butter. Add flour and seasonings; gradually add the broth. Cook until thick, stirring. Stir small amount into eggs and mix, forming custard. Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan; fill with layers of dressing, then chicken. Cover with custard. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
