Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- chicken broth - 3/4 c
- fresh mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 lb
- grated Muenster cheese - 2 c
- chicken breasts, boned and cut into nugget size pieces - 2 item
- Italian flavored bread crumbs Progresso - 1 c
How to make chicken italian:
Dip chicken in beaten eggs and crumbs. Saute in butter. Put in 9 x 13-inch pan. Put mushrooms on top. Cover with broth. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Serves 8. Serve with rice and a vegetable. Can be reheated.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
