Ingredients/Components
- stick margarine - 1 item
- 2 c - 1/2 pkg
- small onion - 1 item
- chicken or 4 large breasts - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
How to make chicken casserole:
Boil chicken until done, do not salt. Pull off bones as for chicken salad and put aside, saving broth. Stir together dressing mixes, chopped onions and melted butter. In greased 13 x 9-inch dish, put a layer of dressing crumbs, a layer of chicken, then a layer of mushroom soup, diluted with 2 cans of broth. Add another layer of crumbs, a layer of chicken and a can of cream of chicken soup, diluted with a can of broth. End with a layer of crumbs.
