Chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- cooked chicken - 4 c
- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 lb
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- buttered bread crumbs - 1 c
- water chestnuts, sliced - 1 c
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- small jar pimento - 1 item
- fresh mushrooms, sauteed in butter - 1 pt
- slices thin sliced Pepperidge Farm bread - 9 item
How to make chicken casserole:
Line a 9 x 13-inch pan with bread slices after buttering. Spread with cooked chicken, mushrooms and chestnuts. Mix mayonnaise and cheese. Spread on top of chicken in pan.
