Chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- stick margarine or butter - 1 item
- fryer - 3 lb
- Pepperidge Farm dressing mix - 1 pkg
How to make chicken casserole:
Cook fryer; bone and cut in small pieces. Melt butter and pour over dressing mix; set aside. Mix 1 cup chicken broth with cream of mushroom soup. Mix 1 cup chicken broth with cream of chicken soup. Put aside 1 cup of the dressing mix.Layer 1/2 of the dressing mix; cover with 1/2 of cut up chicken. Pour cream of mushroom mixture over the chicken. Layer the remainder of the dressing mix; cover with remainder of the chicken. Pour cream of chicken mixture over the chicken. Sprinkle the top with one cup of dressing mix. Bake at 350° in a covered casserole for 50 minutes.
