Chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- hot water - 1 c
- oleo - 1/2 c
- diced onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/4 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- chopped chives - 1/4 c
- stick oleo - 1 item
- diced cooked chicken
- Cheddar cheese - 6 oz
- real mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- Pepperidge dressing cubes - 8 oz
How to make chicken casserole:
Mix dressing cubes, hot water and oleo; put half of mixture in 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix chicken, onion, mayonnaise, oleo, celery and chives; put over dressing. Put rest of dressing over top. Beat eggs and milk together; pour over all. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Just before baking spread can of soup over all. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Sprinkle with cheese.
