Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- chicken broth
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- to 6 chicken breasts - 4 item
- Pepperidge Farm cornbread stuffing
- frozen peas or 1 can peas, drained - 1 pkg
How to make chicken casserole:
Cook chicken; remove bones and skin. Cut into pieces. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of chicken broth. Melt butter in baking dish. Add 1/2 of stuffing mix. Layer chicken on top, then cream of chicken soup and peas. Cover all with the rest of stuffing. (Layer ingredients; do not mix.) Pour chicken broth over casserole.
