Chicken cacciatore
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- garlic clove, minced - 1 item
- Minute rice
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- green pepper strips - 1 c
- boneless chicken strips - 1 lb
How to make chicken cacciatore:
Brown chicken, onion and garlic in oil. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, seasonings and green pepper. Bring to a full boil. Simmer for about ten minutes, then add rice. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes. Stir before serving. Makes 4 servings. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
