Chicken breasts with sour cream
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 item
- flour - 1 item
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- cold water - 3 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- white pepper - 1/4 tsp
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- green onions, chopped - 2 item
- cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
- boneless, skinless chicken breasts - 4 item
- chicken stock, heated
How to make chicken breasts with sour cream:
Mix spices and herbs together. Dust chicken breasts in spice mixture and dredge with flour. Heat butter in saute pan over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 3 minutes. Season with salt. Turn pieces over and cook 3 minutes. Add green onions to pan and cook 1 minute. Pour in chicken stock and cook 6 minutes over low heat. Do not cover.Remove chicken breasts and set aside on hot serving platter. Place saute pan over high heat and cook sauce 3 minutes. Dissolve cornstarch in cold water; stir into sauce. Continue cooking 1 minute. Remove pan from heat and let stand 2 minutes. Stir in sour cream.
