Chewy chocolate cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• butter or margarine, softened
• unsifted all-purpose flour - 2 c
• Hershey cocoa - 3/4 c

How to make chewy chocolate cookies:

Cream butter or margarine and sugar in large mixer bowl. Add eggs and vanilla. Blend well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Blend into creamed mixture. Bake at 350° for 8 to 9 minutes. Do not overbake. Cookies will be soft. They will puff during baking and flatten during cooling. Cool on cookie sheet about 1 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool completely. Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
