  • granulated sugar - 1/2 c
  • pkg - 12 oz
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • nuts - 1 c
  • oleo - 1 c
  • quick cooking oats

How to make chewy chocolate chip bars:

Cream together oleo and sugars until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour and baking soda; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips, nuts and oats. Spread dough into a well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool; cut into bars. Makes 3 dozen.
