- box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- stick butter, melted - 1 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pecans optional - 1/2 c
How to make chess squares:
Filling:1 box powdered sugar (16 oz.)1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese2 eggs1/2 tsp. vanilla extract1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional) Crust: Mix all ingredients together and press into buttered pan (9 x 13-inch).Filling: Blend all ingredients until well blended. Pour on top of crust. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until desired brownness. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
