Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/2 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• granulated sugar
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• flour - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• melted butter - 1 Tbsp
• beaten egg - 1 item
• nut meats - 1/2 c
• juice of cherries - 1 item
• can drained sour cherries, drain and save juice - 1 item
• Lastly, fold in last 1/2 of cherries

How to make cherry torte:

Combine ingredients in order given except use only 1/2 can cherries. Lastly, fold in last 1/2 of cherries. Bake 45 minutes at 350°.Sauce:1 Tbsp. cornstarch1/2 c. sugar juice of cherries Cook ingredients until thick. Cool. Pour over whipped cream or ice cream, piled on torte.
