Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 1 Tbsp
- beaten egg - 1 item
- nut meats - 1/2 c
- juice of cherries - 1 item
- can drained sour cherries, drain and save juice - 1 item
- Lastly, fold in last 1/2 of cherries
How to make cherry torte:
Combine ingredients in order given except use only 1/2 can cherries. Lastly, fold in last 1/2 of cherries. Bake 45 minutes at 350°.Sauce:1 Tbsp. cornstarch1/2 c. sugar juice of cherries Cook ingredients until thick. Cool.
