Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- can cherry pie filling - 1 oz
- margarine - 1/4 lb
How to make cherry coffee cake:
Topping:1/3 c. flour1/4 c. sugar1 tsp. cinnamon3 Tbsp. butter Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Beat about 1 1/2 minutes until mixture is stiff. Pour 1/2 batter in greased pan (approximately 7 1/2 x 12-inches). Spread pie filling on batter. Spread remaining batter on cherries. Mix topping ingredients into crumbs and sprinkle crumbs on batter.
