Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 5 Tbsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- coconut - 1 c
- margarine, softened - 1/2 c
- miniature marshmallows
- can condensed milk - 1 item
- corn flake crumbs
- cherries red and green, combined - 1 c
How to make cherry squares:
Second Layer:2 c. miniature marshmallows1 c. coconut1 c. cherries (red and green, combined)1 can condensed milk1 c. chopped nuts In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, combine crumbs, margarine and sugar. Press firmly to make a crust. Sprinkle marshmallows, coconut and cherries evenly over crust. Pour condensed milk evenly over top. Sprinkle nuts over milk, pressing lightly into mixture. Bake at 350° for about 25 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges. Cool; refrigerate overnight. Cut into squares.I do not measure my cherries, just buy a small jar of each color.
