Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 4 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- cherry pie filling - 1 can
- chopped rhubarb - 3 c
- Sprinkle with sugar and dot with butter
How to make cherry rhubarb cobbler:
Spread fruit in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with sugar and dot with butter.Crust:1/2 c. shortening1 c. sugar1 egg1 c. all-purpose flour1 tsp. baking powder1/2 c. milk Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg, beat. Combine flour and baking powder; add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Pour over fruit. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.
