  • milk - 1/2 c
  • butter or margarine - 4 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • all-purpose flour - 1 c
  • cherry pie filling - 1 can
  • chopped rhubarb - 3 c
  • Sprinkle with sugar and dot with butter

How to make cherry rhubarb cobbler:

Spread fruit in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with sugar and dot with butter.Crust:1/2 c. shortening1 c. sugar1 egg1 c. all-purpose flour1 tsp. baking powder1/2 c. milk Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg, beat. Combine flour and baking powder; add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Pour over fruit. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Yields about 12 servings.
