- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- nuts - 1/2 3/4
- Crisco - 1/3 c
- lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
- sweet milk - 1 c
- jar maraschino cherries, drained and chopped - 1 oz
How to make cherry nut pound cake:
Cream butter and Crisco. Add sugar; beat until creamy. Add 1 egg at a time, beating well with each addition. Add baking powder and flavorings. Alternate flour and milk; beat 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the cherries.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
