- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- 5 oz - 1 lb
- chopped nuts as desired - 1/2 c
- 1 stick melted butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- sweetened whipped cream, ice cream or coffee cream - 1 item
- Duncan Hines white deluxe cake mix - 1 pkg
How to make cherry crunch:
Preheat oven to 350°. Spread pie filling in the bottom of a 9-inch square pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine dry cake mix, nuts and melted butter. Sprinkle over pie filling. Bake 40 to 50 minutes until golden brown. Serve with ice cream, whipped cream or serve with warm coffee cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, American.
