  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • butter or margarine, softened - 1/2 c

How to make cherry crunch:

Mix with fork the brown sugar, flour, salt, baking powder, butter or margarine and egg. Pour half of mixture in bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread can of cherry (or any other type you like) pie filling in pan mixture. Sprinkle remaining mixture on top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
