Cherry cream torte
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- egg whites - 6 item
- can cherry pie filling - 1 oz
- cream of tartar - 3/4 tsp
- carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
- crushed soda crackers - 2 c
How to make cherry cream torte:
Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until frothy. Slowly beat in sugar and vanilla. Beat until glossy. Fold in crushed soda crackers and chopped nuts. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Cool completely. Spread Cool Whip over top. Spoon Comstock cherry pie filling over top.
