Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- egg whites - 6 item
- can cherry pie filling - 1 item
- cream of tartar - 3/4 tsp
- crushed Ritz crackers - 2 c
- Fold in cream of tartar
How to make cherry delight:
Whip egg whites stiff. Fold in cream of tartar. Add sugar in small amounts. Fold in cracker crumbs, chopped nuts and vanilla. Bake in ungreased 10 x 13-inch pan at 300° for 25 minutes.Topping:1 box Dream Whip or Cool Whip1 can cherry pie filling Spread the Dream Whip over the cake. Spoon the pie filling over Cool Whip.
