  • cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
  • vanilla - 1/4 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • milk - 3/4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar, packed - 1/4 c
  • Bisquick baking mix - 2 c
  • water or milk - 1 Tbsp
  • jar cherry preserves - 1 oz
  • Grease a 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; spread preserves in bottom of pan

How to make cherry coffee cake:

Preheat oven to 400°. Grease a 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; spread preserves in bottom of pan. In a small bowl, stir together raisins, brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside. Mix remaining ingredients. Beat vigorously 1/2 minute. Spread batter evenly over preserves. Sprinkle with brown sugar mixture. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. While warm, drizzle with Easy Icing. Makes 9 to 12 servings.Easy Icing:1/2 c. confectioners sugar1 Tbsp. water or milk1/4 tsp. vanilla Mix ingredients until smooth.
