Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 c
  • cinnamon
  • eggs - 4 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • water - 2/3 c
  • nutmeg
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • cloves - 1 tsp
  • Wesson oil - 1 c
  • cooked and mashed sweet potatoes - 2 c
  • nuts, chopped pecans - 1 c

How to make sweet potato bread:

Mix all ingredients. Preheat oven at 350° and pour mixture into greased loaf pan and bake for 1 hour. If you like, use pumpkin instead of sweet potatoes.
