Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- can cherries - 1 item
How to make cherry cobbler:
Mix together sugar and butter. In another small bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add to sugar and butter mixture. Add milk and mix well. Pour into greased 1-quart baking dish. Drain cherries and reserve juice. Pour cherries over batter; sprinkle sugar over cherries (depending on tartness of cherries). Pour 1/2 cup cherry juice over all.
