Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/3 c
- flour
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- coconut - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- can cherry pie filling - 1 oz
- margarine - 1/2 c
- finely chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
- Add nuts and coconut
How to make cherry cheesecake bars:
Combine flour and brown sugar; cut in margarine until like fine crumbs. Add nuts and coconut. Mix well; set aside 1/2 cup. Press remaining crumbs in greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes.Filling:1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts8 oz. cream cheese, softened1 egg1 tsp. vanilla1/3 c. granulated sugar1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling Spread cherry pie filling over cheese layer.
