Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- pkg
- milk - 4 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- large eggs - 2 item
- butter or margarine, softened - 2/3 c
- finely chopped walnuts - 1 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- light brown sugar, packed - 2/3 c
How to make cheesecake squares:
Filling:2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened1/2 c. granulated sugar2 large eggs4 Tbsp. milk2 Tbsp. lemon juice1 tsp. vanilla Melt butter, margarine and sugar until blended. Add flour and nuts; mix well. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Pat remainder into 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350°. Should be light in color. While baking, make filling.Cream together (by hand) cream cheese and sugar. Add 1 egg at a time. (Electric mixer makes smooth.) Beat in remaining ingredients. Pour over crust (can be warm). Sprinkle with reserved mixture. Bake 25 to 30 minutes in 350° oven. Cool well before cutting.
