  • pie filling optional - 1 item

How to make cheesecake:

Stir together 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs, 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/3 cup melted margarine and pat in bottom of a 9 or 10-inch spring-form pan. Set aside and prepare filling.

Mix well the cream cheese and 1 1/4 cups sugar. Add eggs and 1 tablespoon vanilla. Beat slowly until well blended. Pour on top of crust. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes. Blend well the sour cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 3/4 cup sugar. Pour mixture on top of cake when done and bake at 350° for 5 to 10 minutes. May add pie filling as additional topping.
