Cheeseburger macaroni
Ingredients/Components
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- hamburger - 1 lb
- canned tomatoes - 1 qt
- condensed tomato soup - 1 c
- dry macaroni - 1/2 c
- shredded American or Velveeta cheese - 1 c
- washed and sliced, fresh mushrooms - 1/2 c
- onion, sliced/chopped - 1 item
- beef bouillon granules or dry onion soup mix - 1 Tbsp
How to make cheeseburger macaroni:
Heat oil in 10-inch skillet or Dutch oven. Saute mushrooms and onion, seasoning with bouillon or soup mix until cooked. Add hamburger and cook, stirring well to break up lumps, until meat is cooked. Add tomatoes and macaroni. Cook, simmering, for 20 minutes until pasta is cooked. Add cheese, stirring until melted. If mixture is too thin, add tomato soup.Green pepper is also good to add at the saute stage.
