Ingredients/Components
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1/2 lb
- butter - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg white, slightly beaten - 1 item
- pecan halves - 1 item
How to make cheese wafers:
Mix first five ingredients thoroughly until well blended. Roll out on floured board. Cut in 1-inch rounds and place on ungreased pan. Brush each round with egg white. Place part of nut kernel on each. Bake at 425° for 10 to 15 minutes.Received from Hazel Hawks.
