Cheese straws

Ingredients/Components

• salt - 1/2 tsp
• sifted plain flour
• grated sharp cheese - 1 lb
• 1/2 sticks butter or margarine - 1 item
• cayenne pepper to taste - 1 item

How to make cheese straws:

Cream cheese and butter. Add other ingredients. Mix to form firm dough. Fill cookie shooter and press out onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until slightly brown on edges. Cool slightly. Cut with knife into 2-inch straws.
