Cheese crisps
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- butter or margarine, softened - 1 c
- 8 oz - 2 c
- crisp rice cereal - 3 c
- cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
How to make cheese crisps:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter until fluffy. Slowly mix in flour, salt and pepper. Stir in cheese and cereal. Shape into 1 1/2-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 15 to 17 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm or cold. Yield: 3 dozen.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Cheese.
